The Story Behind the Search.
I didn't set out to become San Diego's healthy home specialist. Life — and a house that almost destroyed my family's health — had other plans.

Christie Green
Hello & Welcome!
My name is Christie. I’m a San Diego native and long-time Realtor. I now focus my business exclusively on environmentally sensitive buyers and sellers.
This journey came out of necessity. In 2020, my family moved into our newly renovated “dream home” in University City. We were fine for a while, but eventually, we all started to get increasingly more and more problematic health problems.
We experienced the whole gamut of symptoms—headaches, PANS, kidney problems, fungal pneumonia, acne, hormonal imbalances, tics, eczema, night sweats, excessive bruising, twitches, bloodshot eyes, premature birth, dry skin, and so much more. It was absolutely terrifying watching my family get sicker by the month and have no idea what was causing it. A friend of a friend suggested that we test our house for toxic mold. I thought there was NO WAY that could be the cause. Lo and behold….. it tested off the charts.
I have learned so much through all of this. Most of all, I learned the value in having a safe and healthy home for a family to thrive in. I now help environmentally sensitive clients navigate San Diego real estate, so ultimately, they can own a home they can thrive in.
This is soul-led work for me—I help clients avoid the mistakes that I made, provide access to the best inspectors and remediators in town, and fast-track their healing journey. I provide what I wish that I had had all those years ago. My deep career in real estate coupled with my real life experience with environmental illness makes a potent pair.
The best part? Working with me doesn’t cost anything extra beyond the normal scope of hiring a Realtor. I personally serve all of my clients myself, and have the capacity to serve 4 clients at a time.
Please reach out, and let’s see if we are a great fit!
What Our Clients Say
How I Work — And Why It's Different
Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions of your life--and most people don't consider their health when searching for a home. I do things differently. I work with only a few clients at a time and treat each transaction like it's my own family moving into a home. I bring my A-Game, every time, because the stakes are high!

We start with a brief intake call (book on my Calendly), and then meet for coffee for a thorough health/home consultation. We discuss health history, family goals, budget, location and more! These two conversations set the stage for our search.
The Deep Dive

No flood of listings. I custom-send you listings that may make sense, and we calibrate each other by communicating openly about what we love and what concerns we have.
Your Custom Search

The secret sauce! We do MANY inspections during Escrow so you can understand the true condition of your home. It also gives me a ton of negotiating leverage during our request for repairs period.
Escrow Due Diligence

A home that's been fully vetted for your family's health. Perfect is not the goal--no hidden surprises is the goal. We want to understand what you are buying, so you can proceed with clarity and confidence.

How I Can Help You
Whether you're buying, selling, or relocating to San Diego, I bring the same level of care and expertise to every transaction. Here's where I can make the biggest difference.
Buying a Healthy Home
From our first coffee meeting to closing day, I guide you through every step — with a level of due diligence no standard realtor offers. Your family's health is the priority from day one.
Selling Your Home
Whether your home had environmental issues or not, I'll get you top dollar and handle every detail — including disclosures — with honesty and professionalism.
Excellent, actually. I've been at it for over a decade and ran one of San Diego's most productive teams. My family comes from a deep real estate history — it's the only career I've ever known.
Helping families achieve their goal of living in a space that supports good health is such nourishing work.
I didn't plan it. My family got really sick from mold in a home we bought — our dog died, our baby was born premature, we were in kidney failure. I had to figure out what went wrong and spent three years teaching myself building science and indoor air quality. Eventually I realized I couldn't keep this knowledge to myself.
Because this level of diligence takes real time and attention. I'd rather give a few clients everything I have than give twenty clients my half attention. I do not outsource to VAs, assistants, or other Realtors--each client works directly with me.
My dream client is a family who truly values owning a healthy home. This means different things to different people, but if you are passionate about air quality, nontoxic building materials, mold prevention, natural materials, etc. you are my people!
