This is so nuanced. I have clients that do better on the coast (like myself) and some that need the drier inland inland climate to feel their best. Each have pros and cons! The coast relies more on breeze/natural ventilation which comes with high humidity, but inland relies on mechanicals/HVAC more heavily.

Honestly, no. I have seen families have success in lots of different parts of town, including old neighborhoods, new neighborhoods, coastal, inland, big homes, tiny homes, and more. And living in a community that feels great to you is so critical!
